Tours are thoroughly planned and packaged with air, lodging, lift tickets, shuttles and led by Brian, KC or one of their experienced guides. Clients have the option of hanging out of with the entire group or doing their own thing, but Most opt to ski together, eat together and play together! Brian will also lead willing clients to terrain that will stretch & test their limits and offer coaching if desired. Owners Brian & KC
Brian first clicked into a pair of skis when he was 10 at the now extinct "Bald Hill" on Long Island, NY and then spent his Teen winters skiing the mountains of SoCal and Mammoth. In college as a member of the Cal Poly Ski Club of San Luis Obispo, he braved the trips to Breckenridge, Winter Park, Steamboat, Crested Butte and Whistler. With a fresh Bachelors degree in Recreation Administration and skiing DNA, Brian began busing skiers and boarders from the SF Bay Area to Lake Tahoe. As this grew into a full-time gig and clients started asking about venturing beyond Tahoe . . .
Ski Ride Tours was born.
Bay Area-born KC spent her Teen winters skiing at Bear Valley in the southern Sierras and eventually became a ski instructor for a few seasons. After hooking up with Brian, she became the ski bus' first booking agent and eventually co-owner. She cleaned up the rough edges of the operations and added some class to the biz :)
After operating out of the SF Bay Area for 15 years and wanting to Live in a ski town where he could ski on all the pow days, Brian told KC and their girls that they were moving to Jackson Hole to "test it out for a year". They "fell in the Hole" and thoroughly love their year-round playground.
